grew up in New Orleans and attended Saint Martin's Episcopal School for twelve years graduating in 1995. I received my degree in Art History from the University of Colorado at Boulder. After working for Sotheby’s, The Whitney Museum, and New York art galleries, I entered the wine world and presented wine to high-end restaurants and retailers in Manhattan for three years. From 2005 – 2008 I enjoyed my role as Global Brand Manager for my parents' vineyard in the South of France, Chateau Camplazens. I hold the Diploma from the Wine and Spirits Education Trust and am currently a Master of Wine candidate. |
In 2007 I moved back to New Orleans and married Ed Diaz, owner of The Delachaise wine bar. We welcomed our first child, Alexander Thomas in February 2008.
Upon returning to New Orleans, I was ready to cultivate my passion by starting a wine collection. I envisioned a cellar that in addition to being the constant correct temperature and humidity level, was also easily accessible and could be customized to satisfy a collector's needs. After researching the options available, I realized that the wine storage I was looking for did not exist, and the idea for La Cave was born.
I look forward to meeting you, Cheers! |
